Trade the chart before you know how it ends
Looking back at a chart, every setup is obvious. Bar replay takes that away: everything after the cursor is hidden, and you move forward a bar at a time — or play, or jump along the timeline — deciding as you go, the way you would have had to on the day.
Illustrative sample data — not actual or achievable results.
Fills you can trust
Practice is only useful if the fills are honest, so the rules are written down and the same every time:
- a market order fills at the next bar's open; a limit or stop fills at its price, or at the open when the bar gaps through it
- when one bar touches both your stop and your target, the stop is assumed — and the trade is flagged
- commission is charged per side; one position at a time
Results that stay out of your journal
A session ends with its own figures — net result, win rate, profit factor, expectancy, drawdown, the spread of R and a split between trades that followed your checklist and trades that did not. Practice trades never enter your journal, your Analytics or your goals.
Stocks and ETFs, forex with the dollar on one side, and crypto quoted in dollars, on bars from one minute to one day.

Bar replay is part of Pro. On the free trial it can be the one Pro feature you sample: one session and 10 practice trades.
