1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
2. The Service
Ledger of Alpha is a trading journal and analytics tool. It lets you record trades, import broker data, and review analytics. It is a record-keeping and informational tool only and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. See our Financial Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
Your use of the Service must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.
4. Plans, trials & billing
The Service is offered on free and paid subscription plans. New accounts may include a time-limited trial of paid features, after which the account reverts to the free plan unless a paid subscription is purchased. Paid subscriptions, billing intervals, cancellations, and refunds are described in our Refund Policy. Fees and plan features may change on reasonable notice; changes do not apply retroactively to a period already paid for.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to the data you enter or import (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups; we provide export tools but do not guarantee retention after account closure.
6. Third-party data & services
The Service integrates third-party providers (for example market-data feeds, authentication providers, and broker connections). Your use of those integrations may be subject to the third party's terms, and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. The providers we rely on are listed in our Attributions & Licenses.
Payments for paid plans are handled by our third-party payment provider (PayPal) under its own terms. Ledger of Alpha is the seller of record for your subscription and is responsible for the sale and any applicable taxes. See our Refund Policy for details.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Ledger of Alpha and its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; no other rights are granted.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data or calculation is accurate. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Ledger of Alpha AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY TRADING OR INVESTMENT LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Ledger of Alpha harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to comply with law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, except where prohibited by applicable consumer-protection law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
