Free plan & trial
Ledger of Alpha offers a free plan and may offer a time-limited trial of paid features for new accounts. Trials do not require payment; if you do not subscribe, your account simply reverts to the free plan when the trial ends.
A trial grants a defined subset of paid features — currently the Essential plan, together with a limited number of one-time unlocks of higher-tier features — and not every feature of every plan. The exact grant, its duration and any unlock allowance are shown in the app and in our Help Center, and may differ for accounts created at different times or be changed for new accounts at any time. Unlocks used during a trial apply only for the remainder of that trial; they are not a purchase, carry no cash value, and end with it. Data you record during a trial remains yours and stays in your account when it ends.
Subscriptions & renewals
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example monthly or annually) at the price shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same interval, at the price then in effect, unless cancelled before the renewal date. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price increase; it applies from your first renewal after that notice, so you can cancel before it takes effect.
Who processes your payment
Paid subscriptions are sold through Freemius, Inc., our Merchant of Record. Freemius is the seller of record for your subscription and is responsible for the transaction and any applicable VAT or sales tax; it accepts card and PayPal payments under its own terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account settings here. We never receive or store your full card or bank details, and requests about a specific charge can be sent to us at support@ledgerofalpha.com.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access to paid features until the end of the current paid period, after which the account reverts to the free plan. We do not provide prorated refunds for the unused part of a period except where required by law.
Refunds
Except where required by applicable consumer-protection law, fees are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge. If you have a statutory right to a refund, contact us within the period that right allows. We review every request in good faith.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction, including any applicable cooling-off or withdrawal rights.
