A second opinion on your firm's numbers
A prop account lives or dies on a handful of rules, and every firm words them differently. Ledger of Alpha keeps a prop account beside your others and works out, from your own trades, where it stands against its firm's profit target, daily loss limit and drawdown floor. Your firm's dashboard is still the number that counts; this is the one you can check it against, with your journal next to it.
Illustrative sample data — not actual or achievable results.
Rules the way the firm writes them
Pick a preset and the rules fill in. There are 49 programmes from Topstep, Apex and FTMO, each dated and sourced from the firm's own help pages (last read October 12, 2026). A preset never rewrites rules you have saved — when a firm changes its terms, the app offers the update instead.
- Static and end-of-day trailing floors are reproduced exactly; an intraday trailing floor is an estimate, and the app never says "breached" on an estimate — only that you are near it.
- The firm's day is the firm's: 5:00 pm Chicago for the futures firms, midnight in Prague for FTMO, whatever your own clock says.
- Tradovate and TopstepX exports import directly, as futures, and say where each trade's fees came from.
Alerts before the line, not after
You are told when a day's losses reach 80% of the daily limit and again if the limit is hit, when less than 15% of the drawdown room is left, and once when a trailing floor locks. They are worked out from closed trades every hour — a heads-up, not a live risk desk.
Profit is not cash
Evaluation fees, resets and payouts go in a cost ledger you fill in yourself. It shows the cash you have actually paid and received beside the account's trading result, and never adds the two together: a funded account's profit is the firm's number until it is paid out.
