Deleting a trade or an account is not final. It goes to the Trash and waits there for 30 days, so a wrong click — even a select-all — can be taken back.
Right after deleting
A message appears in the corner: Trade moved to the Trash, with an Undo button for ten seconds. Undo puts back everything that one delete removed.
Later
- Open Settings → Your data (on your phone: Settings → Data) and find Trash.
- Each row says what it is and how many days it has left. Restore brings it back; the bin icon deletes it for good. Empty the Trash deletes everything in it for good.
- A trade comes back with its notes, fills, alerts and mistakes, under the same number. If its account is gone, it comes back into your default account, and you are told.
Accounts
- An account with something in it — trades, deposits or withdrawals, prop costs, goals or reviews — goes to the Trash with all of it, and comes back whole.
- An account with nothing in it is deleted for good: there is nothing to keep.
- A broker connection on a deleted account is disconnected and does not come back with it — connect it again after restoring.
Good to know
- A trade that came from a broker sync and was deleted is also excluded from sync. Restoring it turns sync back on for it.
- If a sync already brought the same trade back, the copy in the Trash cannot be restored — you would have it twice — and the message says so.
- Restoring never takes you past your plan's limits; anything that would is left in the Trash, with the reason.
- After 30 days an item is erased automatically. Deleting your whole account empties the Trash at once.
