By default a broker sync adds new trades on its own. If you'd rather check each one first, turn on Review before adding for that connection.
Turning it on
- Open Brokers and click Details on the connection.
- Switch on Review before adding. On the phone it's on the connection's own page.
It's set per connection, so one account can sync on its own while another waits for you.
Reviewing
When trades are waiting, a banner on the Brokers page says how many. For each trade you choose:
- Import as a new trade.
- Merge into yours. Offered when the trade looks like one you logged. Your trade keeps its notes, stop, target and setup, and takes the broker's prices, time and fees.
- Skip. It's removed from the list and won't come back on the next sync.
Edit lets you change the time, stop, target, setup, tags and notes first. The broker's prices and size are locked; Edit anyway unlocks them, but the trade then differs from your broker's record and no later sync corrects it. Fees can be changed on the trade after it's added. Nothing is written until you press Apply.
Even with review off
A synced trade that could be more than one of the trades you logged always waits for you. The sync never guesses between two.
Waiting trades don't count yet
Until you decide, a waiting trade isn't in your P&L, goals or a prop account's limits. On a prop account that means the headroom shown can look better than it is, so review often or leave review off there.
Editing a file's rows before importing
The same Edit is on every row of a file import's preview, on the Brokers page and on the phone's Review each row. See Importing a CSV.
