Instead of exporting CSVs, you can connect your brokerage once and let trades sync in automatically. This runs through SnapTrade, a broker-connection service, and is available on Essential and Pro plans.
Connecting a brokerage
- Open Settings → Broker Sync.
- Click Connect a brokerage and complete the secure connection portal.
- Map the connected brokerage account to one of your Ledger accounts.
The exact steps differ per broker — see Connecting each broker for auto-sync for the step-by-step (Interactive Brokers in particular needs a couple of setup steps first).
What syncs
We pull your trade activity — including years of history for backfill — and turn it into trades and legs, de-duplicated against what you already have. Multi-fill orders keep their legs. You can trigger a manual Sync now or let it run on a schedule.
Balances
After a sync, the linked account's starting balance is set so your displayed current balance matches the broker's total value.
If a sync stops working
Broker connections can expire or be revoked on the broker's side — see Fixing a broker connection that stopped syncing for the fix.
Note: broker coverage and availability depend on the connection service and your plan. See Supported brokers.
