The Trader’s Creed is your own book of what you believe about the market and how you act on it. Open Creed in the sidebar (on the phone, from the menu). Each entry is a tenet: the belief in your words, where it came from (a link, or a photo of the page), and your own rule. The app shows them back exactly as you wrote them.
What the app can check
A tenet can name one thing the app checks: the month, the weekday, a trade tag, one of your Blueprints, or earnings within a number of trading days. Anything else in your rule (“after 2 pm”, “when I feel rushed”) stays your words; the app says which part it checks. A tenet with nothing to check is a note, and that is fine.
Evidence from your own trades
Beside a tenet the app splits your closed trades in two: the ones it applied to, and all the others. Each side shows the number of trades, win rate, net P&L, average R (only trades with a stop have an R) and average size, with the same figures as Analytics. A trade without a date is counted on neither side. Below 20 trades the page says the sample is small: a difference there can be chance. Under it, mark each trade Followed or Not followed; the tenet counts your answers. The app never grades them. Earnings dates for past trades are not checked yet, so an earnings tenet shows no evidence for now.
Starter facts
The Creed starts with facts computed from S&P 500 history: the return by month since 1950, and by weekday and around market holidays since 2000; and what SPY did a week, two weeks and a month after a day the VIX closed more than 40% higher, since 2007, every such day listed. Each shows what the average hides: the median, how often it was up, and the worst case. A fact states what the index did. It is not a rule and not a forecast. To trade by one, press Write a tenet from this and put the rule in your own words.
Seasonality on Markets
The same month-by-month chart is on Markets: pick Seasonality at the top of the page (on the phone, scroll down the Markets screen). Switch between the S&P 500, the Nasdaq 100 and the Russell 2000; each uses its own history, and the card says from which year. Hover a month (tap it on the phone) for its median, how often it closed up, and its worst and best year.
Plans
Every plan writes tenets and sees the starter facts. Free keeps up to 5 tenets; Essential and Pro keep as many as you like and add the evidence from your trades.
A tenet into a Blueprint
Make it a Blueprint creates a new Blueprint named after the tenet, with your rule as its first checklist item, and links the tenet to it. Trades you put on that Blueprint are then the ones it applies to.
