The visual report is one designed document about your trading over a period: the result on the cover, the headline figures, your balance day by day, a calendar of every trading day, the breakdowns by Blueprint, symbol, session and weekday, your best and worst trades, and the review you wrote for that period. It is a record of what happened, written in past tense, with no advice in it.
Where to make one
- Analytics — Export report at the top of the page.
- Review — once a week or month is reviewed, Report makes the report for that period.
- Trades — the Export dialog has a Visual report box.
- Phone — Analytics → the share button.
Pick a period (last month, this month so far, last week, this week so far, or your own dates). It covers the account chosen in the top bar, or all of them.
HTML or PDF
- Download HTML saves one file that opens in any browser, offline. It has no scripts and loads nothing from the internet.
- Open as PDF opens the same document with your browser’s print dialog. Choose Save as PDF as the destination. The PDF is always printed on white paper.
What is in it, and what is left out
A section with nothing to say is left out rather than drawn empty. For example, the hour-by-weekday map needs entry times on 10 or more trades, the exits chart needs 5 or more trades with their best and worst price measured, the goals section needs goals set for that account and period, and the prop section appears only on a prop account with its rules set.
A deposit or withdrawal shows as a step in the balance and is named. It is never counted as profit, and the return is time-weighted, so cash moved in or out does not change it. Positions still open at the end of the period are listed. For a past period they are valued at what they cost, because the app does not keep a price for a past close.
The privacy eye
If the eye in the top bar is hiding your figures, the report hides dollars, percentages and R too. Win rate and counts still show.
Plans
The report is on Essential and Pro. On Pro you can also make it from only the trades your Trades page filters show. The balance and the return stay the whole account’s, and the report says which filters it used.
