Coach reads your trade history and tells you what is working, what is costing you and what to change. It is the Coach tab in Analytics (it used to be called AI), on the desktop and on the phone, and it is part of the Pro plan.
What it reads
- The account and the period the Analytics page is showing. Change either and you get that read instead. The label next to the Coach title names the account being read; with All accounts picked, every account is read together — pick one in the top bar to read it on its own. Each account keeps its own saved read.
- It needs at least 30 closed trades in the period. A pattern is only reported with 20 trades behind it (10 for a habit, such as adding to a losing trade), so a small sample is left out instead of guessed at.
- Each read uses one AI action. It is saved, so opening the tab again is free; Read again makes a new one. If you have closed new trades since, the tab says how many.
What you get
- The short version — two or three sentences about where your results come from.
- Strengths and weak spots — each with its figures underneath. Click one to see a real trade of yours on the chart, with numbered marks on your entry, any add, the stop and the exit, explained underneath. Findings about the time of day show a chart by hour instead.
- Where to improve — up to three changes, each with how your journal will show it is working.
Where the numbers come from
Every figure is worked out by Ledger of Alpha from your journal, the same way as the rest of Analytics. The AI is sent those figures and a few example trades — not your whole history — and it chooses what matters and writes the words. If it writes a number that is not in your figures, that sentence is dropped. It can only see what you recorded: where a trade has no notes it says what happened, not why. Option trades are never used as chart examples. It is not financial advice.
