The dashboard and Analytics can show every money figure in one of three units. Pick one with the $ · % · R switch beside the date range (on the phone, under the page title), or press U on the desktop to cycle through them. The choice is saved to your account, so the phone follows the desktop.
What each unit means
- $ is net P&L after fees, as before.
- % is a share of the account. A trade's % is its net P&L divided by the balance at the start of the day it closed, so a 1% day means the same on a $25,000 account as on a $250,000 one. A day's trades add up to the day's %. A week, month or any other range compounds its days.
- R is a multiple of the risk you planned: net P&L divided by the distance from entry to stop. Trades without a stop have no R and are left out, never counted as 0R.
Win rate and profit factor are the same in every unit. Tables by symbol, setup or tag show each group's trades added up, which in % is that group's share of the return.
Deposits never count as gains
If you record a deposit or a withdrawal (see Deposits and withdrawals), it changes the balance that each day's % is measured against, but it is never part of the return. Without any recorded, the all-time % is simply your balance now compared with your starting balance.
If an account has no starting balance, % is switched off for it: there is nothing to take a percentage of.
Privacy mode
With Privacy mode on, every figure is masked — dollars, percent and R alike — and the dashboard chart is hidden. Win rate and trade counts stay visible.
