Keep separate trading accounts — a live account, a paper account, a futures account — and track each on its own while still seeing the whole picture.
Adding and editing accounts
- Go to Settings → Accounts to add an account and set its name, starting balance, risk %, and commission.
- Each account computes its own current balance as starting balance plus realized P&L.
Commission per asset class
One rate can't describe a real broker: the same account might pay a few tenths of a cent per share on stock, around $0.65 per contract on options and a couple of dollars per contract on futures. Open Commission per asset class on an account to set each one.
- The unit differs per row, and each row says which it is. Stock, forex and crypto take the total for one side of the trade (the round trip bills it twice). Options, futures and commodities take the rate per contract per side.
- Leave a row blank to use the account's flat Commission field. Blank is not zero — a blank row falls back, a 0 means that class really is commission-free.
- These are defaults for imported and synced trades that arrive without a commission. A trade you type in yourself, or one your broker priced, is never overwritten.
Switching accounts
The account switcher lives in the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Pick an account to scope the dashboard, trades, and journal to it — or choose All Accounts for an aggregate view. Your choice is remembered.
How many accounts you can create depends on your plan.
