Am I up across all my prop attempts?

The Prop page: every seat side by side, the evaluation → funded chain, and a hand-entered ledger of fees and payouts that answers whether the attempts have made you money.

Rule cards answer “how is this account doing”. The Prop page answers the other question — am I up across all of my attempts? It shows every prop account you run side by side, and a ledger of what each one cost you and what it paid back.

The page appears in the sidebar as soon as one of your accounts is marked as a prop account. It is part of Pro.

Seats, not accounts

An evaluation and the funded account it earns are two separate accounts at the firm — different logins, different sizes, different rules — so they are two accounts here too, and their trades are never mixed. But they are one attempt to you. Under The seat in an account's prop-rules editor there is a “This account succeeds” box: point the funded account at the evaluation it came from, and the Prop page shows them as one seat, adds their fees together, and tells you which attempt number you are on.

The chain is optional. Leave it as Not chained and each account is simply its own seat.

The ledger

Every entry is typed in by you. Nothing here is read from a bank, a card or a firm's dashboard, and nothing is guessed — which is also why every number on the page can be traced to a line you can see.

  • Evaluation fee — what you paid to start a combine or challenge.
  • Reset — a reset or retry on an account you already had.
  • Activation fee — a one-off charge to turn a pass into a funded seat.
  • Monthly fee and Market data — the recurring charges.
  • Payout — money the firm actually paid you. The only entry that is cash coming in.
  • Other — anything else, with a note saying what it was.

You always type a positive amount. Which direction it moves is decided by what kind of entry it is, so a payout can never accidentally be recorded as a cost, or the other way round.

“Net cash” and “Trading P&L” are two different things

The page reports both, side by side, and never adds them together.

  • Net cash is your payouts minus your fees — money that actually moved through your bank account.
  • Trading P&L is the profit or loss inside the accounts themselves. At almost every prop firm a funded account is still a simulated account, so that figure is not money you have; it becomes money only when the firm pays a payout, which you then record as a payout entry.

Adding the two would double-count and would tell you that you are up when you may be down, so we keep them apart.

What about the “Signup cost” in the rules editor?

That field records what the programme costs — it is part of describing the deal, like the account size. The ledger records what you actually paid, on dates. Only the ledger is counted in the totals, so filling in both does not charge you twice.

Deleting things

Deleting a ledger entry touches nothing else. Deleting an account also removes its ledger entries, since they described that seat — but removing an account's firm rules (“Stop tracking”) keeps every trade and every entry.
