Studio vs TradingView

When to use each chart mode on the chart page.

The chart page offers two modes per tab, switchable from the toolbar: Studio and TradingView. Studio is the default.

Studio

  • Our own charting engine with a full drawing toolset.
  • Drawings persist per symbol — they're still there when you come back.
  • Indicators that persist across sessions, snapshots, timezone control, and fullscreen.

TradingView

  • The familiar TradingView widget, if you prefer its interface and tools.
  • Its drawings are not saved by Ledger of Alpha — that's the main reason Studio exists.

Rule of thumb: use Studio when you want your analysis to stick, and TradingView for quick, throwaway looks. Saved drawings require an Essential or Pro plan.
