On a computer, the chart page has a watchlist panel down its right edge. Click any symbol in it to load that symbol on the chart.
Can't see it?
If the panel is collapsed, you'll see a thin strip on the right edge with your list's name written sideways. Click the strip to open the watchlist again. The arrow button at the top of the open panel collapses it.
Adding one symbol
- Click the + at the top of the watchlist, next to the list's name.
- Type a ticker or company name, for example
AAPL,ES=ForBTC-USD. The chips under the box narrow the results to one asset type. - Pick the result. It goes onto the list straight away.
Adding several at once
Click +, paste a list of tickers separated by commas or spaces into the search box, then press Enter. Symbols already on the list are skipped.
Adding at a specific spot
- Right-click a symbol, or hover it and click its ⋯ button, then choose Add symbol here to add a new symbol directly below it.
- On a section header, open its menu and choose Add symbol to add into that section. Make a section from the list menu (⋯ at the top of the panel) → Add sector group.
Importing a list
Open the list menu (⋯ at the top of the panel) → Import symbols. Paste tickers or a TradingView watchlist export, or upload a .txt / .csv file. A preview tells you how many symbols it will add before you import. TradingView section headers (###Semis) become sections.
More than one list
Click the list name at the top of the panel to switch lists. The ⋯ menu has New watchlist, Rename, Export and Delete. To take a symbol off, right-click it → Remove from list.
On a phone
The phone's chart screen has no watchlist panel. The list in its header is your Markets symbols, which you manage on Markets. See Tracking your own symbols on Markets.
