Yes. The Studio chart can show pre-market and after-hours bars. They're off by default.
Turning it on
- On the chart page, make sure the tab is in Studio mode (see Studio vs TradingView).
- Click Chart settings (the sliders button in the chart's top toolbar).
- Under Canvas, switch on Extended hours.
- Choose This tab or All charts at the top of the panel, depending on where you want it to apply.
Things to know
- Intraday timeframes only (1 minute up to 4 hours). Daily, weekly and monthly candles always show the regular session, so switching the setting on changes nothing there.
- It only makes a difference for symbols that trade outside regular hours, such as US stocks and ETFs. Futures, forex and crypto already trade around the clock, so their charts look the same either way.
- Pre- and post-market volume is thin, so those bars are often small or have gaps. That is the market, not missing data.
- In TradingView mode, use TradingView's own chart settings instead. This switch only controls the Studio chart.
- The phone chart screen does not have this setting. It shows regular hours.
